Pat Lewis is singing at the next Solid Hit Soul

Detroit singing legend Pat Lewis will be performing at the next Solid Hit Soul. Entry is strictly first come first served, and it is expected to be packed out early so you’ve been warned! Get there early if you don’t want to miss her. We can’t make exceptions, even for regulars so please don’t get locked out by turning up late. This should be a real night to remember and a very rare opportunity to see one of northern soul’s most revered vocalists performing live.

Thanks to everyone who came & packed the place out in April and a special thanks to Alex Jones who battled through severe hold ups on the M6 & coped with the M1 being closed before stunning everyone with an exceptional Guest Spot

Right onto May & we have the ever popular Ted Massey returning as Special Guest, his last two guest spots for us were brilliant & both times he packed the dancefloor from his first record to his last & i’m sure that this one will be no different. I also know that he has been investing in some (more) top class rarities recently and is looking forward to unleashing them at Solid Hit on the 27th. Can’t wait.

Thanks for everyones support & look forward to seeing you at The Shooting Star.

Thanks to everybody who came down in February, once again a very busy night with great music & great atmosphere. A big thanks to our guest Rob Smith who played a stonking set of Northern Soul keeping the floor heaving & hopefully everybody happy.

Alex Jones our guest on the 15th is sure to have the same effect, top class records top class DJ. Alex never usually DJs in London so don’t miss this great opportunity to catch one of the scenes current top DJs in action without travelling oop north.

Big thanks to everyone who made it to SHS in December. Very bad weather, public transport non-existent & we still had a packed & brilliant nite. Really appreciate the effort you all made.

Next Solid Hit is Friday 18th February 2011 when we welcome back Nottinghams Legendary Rob Smith. Last time Rob was down he practically blew the roof off of the building. Rarity after rarity all top quality, dancefloor rammed, tremendous atmosphere, can’t wait to get him back on the decks
